Genaxis Hosts Kibo Venture Camp 18th Cohort Demo Day; Top 4 Startups Including Vrinc Selected

SEOUL — South Korean startup accelerator Genaxis has successfully hosted the individual Demo Day for the 18th cohort of the '2026 Kibo Venture Camp,' providing a platform for emerging startups to validate their business models and demonstrate their investment potential.

Genaxis announced on June 4 that the closed-door demo day was held on May 22 at the Seoul Startup Hub Networking Zone. The Kibo Venture Camp is a flagship accelerator program operated by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Kibo) to foster highly innovative tech startups. Serving as an official operator for the 18th cohort, Genaxis has been systematically supporting 14 selected startups to enhance their commercialization strategies and fundraising capabilities.

The event brought together around 30 attendees, including presenting founders, venture capitalists, and ecosystem operators. Each startup was given a strict 7-minute pitch followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.

A total of 13 companies presented their business models and growth roadmaps: Stablely, Gwanak Lab, Heimdex, WishBuilder, Poboo, Digital OS, Evolv, Orinan, Mindful Labs, Vrinc, J2k Korea, ERM Tech, Binaryus

A panel of institutional judges evaluated the participants based on a comprehensive set of criteria, including executive capabilities, technology and product feasibility, market fit, growth potential, program engagement, and pitch quality.

Following rigorous deliberation, four startups were recognized as "Outstanding Enterprises" for their exceptional performance: Vrinc, Binaryus, Heimdex, and Stablely.

Among them, Vrinc—a developer of an AI-powered personalized smart nutritional dispenser—earned the highest overall evaluation, securing an invitation to present at Kibo's upcoming integrated demo day.

The four top-performing startups will receive direct support from the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Kibo) for technology guarantee reviews, alongside prioritized matching opportunities with follow-on venture capital investors.

The pitches were followed by an extensive networking session between investors, operators, and founders to discuss follow-on investments and strategic cross-industry partnerships.

"This Demo Day served as a crucial testing ground for our cohort companies to validate their refined business models and investment strategies directly with active investors," a representative from Genaxis said. "Moving forward, we plan to provide ongoing support—not just for the top four teams, but for all participating startups—by connecting them with technology guarantees, investor matching, and follow-on acceleration programs."
