# Heimdex Secures Pre-Seed Investment from Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance to Drive Global Market Expansion for 'No-Upload' Video AI

**SEOUL, South Korea — July 30, 2026** — Heimdex, an artificial intelligence company pioneering "no-upload" video search, editing, and utilization, announced today that it has successfully secured a pre-seed investment from Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance. Completed in June, this funding round marks a key milestone as Heimdex accelerates its entry into the global B2B video analytics market.

Heimdex has developed a proprietary "on-premise and cloud hybrid architecture" that eliminates the need to upload heavy raw video files to the cloud. Instead, it extracts lightweight metadata locally for instant analysis. This tech framework enables hyper-precise search capabilities that locate exact scenes in massive video archives without latency, while offering natural language-based video summarization and automated short-form content generation.

A major differentiator of Heimdex's solution is its automated blur feature for privacy and likeness protection, effectively neutralizing compliance and data security risks at the source. Consequently, Heimdex serves a broad spectrum of industries—ranging from entertainment and live-commerce companies needing high-efficiency content production to law firms handling vast amounts of video evidence.

With this investment, Heimdex plans to apply for South Korea’s Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Startups' TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startups), backed by Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance as its accelerator. The funding and upcoming support will be leveraged to drive large-scale Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for video data processing and to further advance its R&D capabilities.

This latest investment further solidifies Heimdex's strong growth trajectory. Following an initial investment from global venture capital firm Antler, Heimdex was selected for key government-backed innovation programs, including the "Stepping Stone" R&D initiative and the "N-Up 2026" program—a joint collaboration between the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and NVIDIA.

Moving forward, Heimdex aims to integrate global technical infrastructures and build a pipeline that converts legacy media assets into next-generation AI training datasets, such as Physical AI and virtual humans, to expand its business footprint globally.
